‘Imagine Being This Fine All Your Life’: Toni Braxton Turns 59 and Refuses to Hide as She Flaunts Every Curve In Stunning Birthday Shoot

Toni Braxton has repeatedly stunned the world with her everlasting beauty since the 1990s.

Year after year, the Grammy-winning singer has proved that she’s still one bad mama jama. Braxton is the eldest of six siblings, but you couldn’t tell by her looks.

In fact, she just turned one year older on Oct. 7, celebrating her 59th birthday with a provocative photo shoot.

The “He Wasn’t Man Enough for Me” singer shared several jaw-dropping photos on Instagram, with a caption that showed she feels as good as she looks.

In Braxton’s five photos, she wore a black long-sleeved bodysuit, baring her legs as she opted not to wear any pants or stockings.

She styled her hair in a Diana Ross-esque look with long, voluminous curls, marking a dramatic change from her signature pixie cut.

In several striking images, she posed in a squatted position that drew attention to the stretch marks and lines on her thighs.

Some would call them imperfections, but Braxton is living unapologetically in her truth.

“Every fold. Every wrinkle. If it’s up to me … I’m still feeling SEXY. Damn near 60 today!” she captioned her post. “Happy Birthday to ME! Libra SZN!”

Her post sent fans into a frenzy, with commenters flooding her replies with reactions to the unexpected moment.

One Braxton stan said, “Imagine being this fine all your life.” Another reflecting on Braxton’s beauty in the 1990s wrote, “Toni been eating girls up since the 90s.”

The only obvious wrinkles and folds were around her stomach area, which you could only see in the photos where she is bent over. In the standing pictures, the folds disappear.

Many supporters zoomed in to notice what Braxton had, claiming, “I don’t see any wrinkles you STILL LOOK great.”

A fourth fan complimenting her beauty added, “We love to see it! Aging gracefully and beautifully.”

In the past, Braxton has been accused of retouching and editing her photos. Each time, she looks effortlessly flawless.

Even in her red carpet pictures, the “Breathe Again” vocalist maintains a youthful glow that makes it hard to believe she’s any older than 30-something.

Her sexy birthday photos shouldn’t really come as a surprise, as Braxton isn’t shy about showing off her skin. For her 57th birthday, she wore a gray sheer mesh minidress that accentuated her features with a deep neck plunge.

She doesn’t talk about beauty often, but she has credited one beauty hack that she refused to give up.

In a beauty tutorial for Vogue, Braxton talked about her beauty secrets since the 1990s, including changes to her eyebrows.

She had already cleansed and moisturized her face. After putting on a few swipes of eye cream, she suddenly pulled out a purple adult toy.

“It is, it is a vibrator. But I call it a face tingler. It just tingles the muscles in my face and gets them activated and working,” she explained in 2020.

To answer any obvious questions fans might have, she clarified, “I haven’t used it on anything else other than my face, OK. Just FYI.”

Braxon then demonstrated how she uses the ball at the end of the vibrator under each eye. “I just kinda rub it, and it just activates all those muscles,” she said.

She later added, “Under my eyes – they are really important to me. It tells your age a little bit.”

As untraditional as it seems, Braxton’s method does seem to help keep her under-eye area smooth. Fans couldn’t find a single wrinkle in her birthday pictures.

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
