Toni Braxton and Birdman are still going strong.
Earlier this month, the pair celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary, with the R&B singer sharing rare, never-before-seen images of herself in a white dress.
The Cash Money Records CEO was nowhere to be seen in the photo carousel — until the chatter started, and suddenly he was front and center.

Birdman’s absence in the photos has stirred fans, who have questioned why Braxton doesn’t publicly display their relationship online.
On the other hand, the music executive doesn’t mind showing off his lady, as he did in a recent Instagram video on Sept. 8.
A short clip shows the couple sitting in the back of a vehicle.
The “He Wasn’t Man Enough” singer wore a camouflage jacket and sunglasses, while Birdman wore all black and dark shades.
Bigging up his wife’s fashionable style, he says, “Thuggin’ too. Camo’d down.”
Meanwhile, Braxton fixes her hair, throws up a peace sign and purses her lips in a duck-face pose.
She looked down at her phone as he mumbled a few more words to the camera before she eventually waved at the camera before looking back down.
Birdman chuckles and adds, “G-code. F-ck out of here.” The last remark was similar to his caption, in which he tagged Braxton and wrote, “GCODE #RICHGANGRICHGURL.”
“Rich gang” and “Rich girl” are two producer tags that the 57-year-old has dropped in several songs. “Rich Gang” is also the name of Birdman’s 2013 project that featured himself, Young Money artists Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Mack Maine and the lead single, “Tapout.”
That history makes Braxton and Birdman’s pairing even more unexpected. Her soft R&B image clashes with his gritty rap persona, and fans still can’t get over the unlikely match.
One person who paid close attention said, “Toni like ENOUGH cut the camera.”
A second person pointed out, “You know Toni cold cause any time we see them it’s him posting them she like go on nieeeee love a mean woman.”
A third person wondered, “Why she never got her ring on? I love their thug love.”
Regardless, the love was displayed as many agreed, “He love Toni I don’t care what nobody says!!! He knows he got a baddie.”
It seems Braxton prefers to keep her relationship and romance with Birdman mostly private. Fans were shocked to learn their 25-year friendship turned romantic in 2016 after the pair kept their relationship under wraps.
She said he became a heavy support system at that time when she was on tour, and always made sure to check on her since she battles lupus.
“Every day I had a show, he came,” Braxton told People in 2018. “Every night he would ask me, ‘Are you OK? Are you good?’ I said, ‘Oh my God, he’s such a great guy!’”
When he finally expressed his interest in her, she said, “He told me he always liked me and I was like, ‘You never told me!’ And he’s like, ‘Well, you were married!’ He said, ‘I was always digging you.”
This marks Braxton’s second marriage. Her marriage to Mint Condition singer Keri Lewis from 2001 to 2013 ended over finances.
She admitted that money issues contributed to her divorce on “The Red Table Talk.” She had just learned she had lupus, which kept her from working.
“I remember a few times being in the hospital ill and he would come later in the day and I would think, he’s not coming because I’m sick,” Braxton told the hosts.
Looking back, the singer, who filed for bankruptcy in 1998 and 2010 after a series of bad contracts, said money was only the surface issue. She believed, “because I was sick, he left.”
Braxton never discussed those fears with Lewis, but she did complain about paying him alimony for years following the divorce. Together, they have two sons, Denim Cole Braxton-Lewis, 24, and Diezel Ky Braxton-Lewis, 23.
In 2018, Birdman and Braxton got engaged but kept their relationship private. In the years that followed, they seemed to experience some ups and downs of married life.
By 2019, the couple had removed their photos from social media. Birdman later told Wendy Williams their engagement was “fake” on her eponymous talk show.
Later that year, however, he appeared on her family’s show, “The Braxton Family Values,” which suggested that they were back together.
By 2023, Braxton shared a report claiming she and Birdman had married. She disputed the report but called Birdman her “dear friend” and said they were both single.
Then, in an April 2024 People magazine interview, the actress confessed her excitement to get back into the dating world.
But apparently they weren’t over as Birdman and Braxton secretly tied the knot two months later, on August 8, 2024.
Even more shocking, the “Un-Break My Heart” singer filed for divorce two weeks later. Court documents obtained by the outlet listed their separation date as Aug. 10, just two days after saying, “I Do.”
Fast-forward to January 2025, and Braxton reportedly dismissed the divorce petition.
All of this happened under the radar as they kept the marriage hidden from the public for nearly a year, until TMZ finally dropped the bombshell in April 2025.
That’s quite the roller coaster, but it seems that Braxton and Birdman have finally found their stride.
