Michael Strahan has been on television nearly every weekday this year.
Between regular appearances on “Good Morning America,” Sundays on Fox during football season, and a July interview with Chris Johnson that drew enough criticism to keep him defending himself for weeks, he talked about a lot on the air.
But he never mentioned one thing about his personal life.

Strahan has become a father again, and not many knew.
TMZ reported Thursday, Aug. 27, that Strahan and longtime girlfriend Kayla Quick quietly welcomed a baby girl earlier this year, per sources with direct knowledge.
No announcement, no IG post, and no on-air moment. The child is the former NFL player’s fifth.
The reaction online split between congratulations and side-eye, with a fair share of people going straight at the couple.
“Michael really kept this one under wraps,” wrote one user under an X post. “Congratulations to the happy family,” another said.
One person found her own silver lining: “having another baby at his age is giving me hope for my future dating pool honestly.”
But as the thread turned, pointing out the age gap, one person stepped in: “the way yall are dragging this man for being happy is crazy let him enjoy his baby girl.”
Another person also seemed to take issue with people criticizing Michael over the age gap. They jokingly responded, “Trump was 52 when he mail ordered Melania 28 from Epstein.”
The 54-year-old Strahan and 36-year-old Quick have been together since 2015, roughly 11 years, and have surfaced publicly maybe a handful of times during that time.
She’s the founder and CEO of FIZZNESS, a beauty-based wellness brand selling single-packet powdered drinks.
Quick’s also been quietly present in his family for years. Matching Christmas pajamas in his Instagram carousels, his twin daughters’ high school graduation, a campaign for his coconut water brand alongside Isabella.
Not to forget, her support of Strahan at his 2023 Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, per Just Jared.
Furthermore, she was there for the hardest stretch. In October 2023, weeks after moving to Los Angeles for USC, Strahan’s daughter Isabella was diagnosed with medulloblastoma, a malignant brain tumor. She had emergency surgery, then radiation and chemotherapy, documenting the whole journey in a candid YouTube series.
Strahan’s sudden disappearance from “GMA” that winter was tied directly to it. Isabella was declared cancer-free and still gets regular scans. “To hear the words, cancer-free, it makes you extremely happy,” Strahan said afterward. “It doesn’t make you less nervous. I’ll be honest with you. I still get nervous.”
The new arrival lands in an already full house. Strahan shares 34-year-old daughter Tanita and son Michael Jr., 31, with first ex-wife Wanda Hutchins. They were married from 1992 to 1996. Twins Isabella and Sophia, both 21, came from his marriage to Jean Muggli, which ran from 1999 to 2006 and ended in a widely reported settlement.
Before Quick, he was engaged for five years to Nicole Murphy, Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife. That ended in 2014, with Page Six reporting a prenup dispute at the center of it.
There’s one more wrinkle in the math: Strahan is already a grandfather. Tanita gave birth to a son, Onyx, in September 2024. This means his newest daughter is younger than his grandson.
“I don’t feel old enough,” he said at the time, per the Los Angeles Times, floating “Papa” and “Gap-pa” as alternatives to Grandpa.
