Taylor Swift Drops the Ultimate Quiet Revenge on Trump — He’s Going to Explode When He Finds Out

President Donald Trump may have to admit defeat in his very public and ongoing feud with pop star Taylor Swift.

The two have taken direct attacks at each other for years, and just as things got quiet, Trump deployed his team of supporters into action.

Trump went from calling Swift “terrific” in a 2012 tweet to watching White House-aligned backers troll the singer on TikTok in 2026.

According to Billboard, the Team Trump TikTok account removed Swift’s “August” from a recent post. Longtime GOP consultant Alex Bruesewitz reportedly runs the account.

Team Trump shared a short clip of the president and his wife, first lady Melania Trump, watching a fireworks display.

‘Taylor Is Just Devastated’: Outrage Ensues Over Viral Taylor Swift Taunt as Trump’s Press Secretary Struggles to Contain Fallout

“Mood because it’s August and Donald Trump is your president” was written over the video.

The caption on the post read, “I’m sure @Taylor Swift is going to be super excited we used her song!”

The sarcastic post implied Swift supported the Trump administration, but the move quickly backfired.

By Aug. 7, “August” was no longer in the background of the Trump and Melania video. Instead, “TRUMP is my PRESIDENT” by Lounge Vibes eventually became the new soundtrack.

The words of the viral record include, “I love Trump. I love Trump. Make America great again.” Those lyrics play off the president’s right-wing MAGA movement.

Swift has not addressed Team Trump dropping her “August” ballad from the 2020 album “Folklore.” Fans, however, continue crediting Swift with the song’s removal, even though she has not publicly addressed the situation.

The legions of Swifites were quick to notice the musical switch-up. They flooded Team Trump’s comment section to mock the president and his MAGA supporters.

“Sorry, what was that? Can’t hear the song,” read a tongue-in-cheek response.

A second commenter wrote, “She removed it, clocked you guys.” A third added, “Hahahahaha, you messed with the wrong successful woman.”

Many praised Swift for paying Trump dust and not responding to him directly.

A like-minded individual on Facebook added, “I love how she doesn’t have to say a word … Just boom, it’s done.”

“Way to go, Taylor!!” exclaimed another commenter. An additional poster recommended, “She should sue him. He doesn’t hesitate to sue people. Get him, Tay.”

The August-themed video uploaded a week ago was not the only TikTok post from Team Trump in the last year that lost the sound of Taylor’s voice.

The August-themed video was not Team Trump’s only TikTok post to lose Swift’s music.

In November 2025, Team Trump posted a montage using Swift’s “Father Figure.” The post now has no audio.

The feud dates to 2018, when Swift first made a major political endorsement. She backed Democrat Phil Bredesen over Republican Marsha Blackburn in Tennessee’s Senate race, prompting MAGA backlash.

Trump, realizing the impact Swift has on American culture, started posting AI-generated images suggesting the singer endorsed him in the 2024 presidential race against incumbent Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris, 61.

That September, Swift made it clear that she would be voting for Harris. She drafted a lengthy message explaining why she wanted to see the Democrat in the White House and slammed Trump over his fake endorsements.

“Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site,” Swift wrote.

She later added, “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”

Days later, Trump hopped back on Truth Social to declare, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” Despite Swift advocating for Harris to be the first female POTUS, Trump ultimately prevailed in the 2024 general election and began his second term as president in 2025.

The notoriously vindictive New Yorker continuously took swipes at Swift after returning to the White House. One of his most viral attacks aimed at the billionaire songstress happened in May 2025.

“Has anyone noticed that, since I said, ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,” she’s no longer ‘HOT?’” Trump asked his followers. Then he doubled down that August by slamming Swift for being “woke” and “no longer hot.”

Time will tell if Swift’s response has made her the target of Trump’s next explosive meltdown on Truth Social.
