‘Baby Evelyn Gave Her the Game!’: Evelyn Lozada’s Daughter Shaniece Hairston Pops Out with Giants Receiver Sterling Shepard

As winter approaches, cuffing season draws near and recruitment for a cuddle buddy has begun. 

While this can be a stressful search for some, it looks like Shaniece Hairston and NFL player Sterling Shepard don’t have to worry about participating in the draft because they are already boo’d up with one another.

Hairston and Shepard made things Instagram official after posting an identical picture which showed the model sitting on the New York Giants wide receiver’s lap. 

Hairston captioned her photo, “My babe [white heart emoji],” while Shepard’s was captioned, “Perfect timing [black heart emoji].”

The Neighborhood Talk reposted Hairston’s picture and many fans brought up her mother, “Basketball Wives” star Evelyn Lozada, noting similarities in the type of men the mother-daughter duo seem to attract.

“She’s her momma’s daughter, ayeee”

“I know Evelyn is proud!”

Lozada used to be involved with with former NFL player Chad Ochocinco Johnson. The two began dating in 2009, and a year later the then-Miami Dolphins wide receiver proposed to her. 

After a two-year engagement, the pair finally got hitched in 2012; however, things quickly took a turn for the worse just a few months later. 

News broke that Lozada had filed for divorce after Johnson was arrested for a domestic violence charge against her. 

According to TMZ, Lozada “found a receipt for condoms in the center of the couple’s Maserati and confronted Johnson about it, A verbal argument ensued.”

In Sept. 2012, the pair’s divorce was finalized and both went their separate ways. 

Lozada’s daughter is no stranger to the football life though, for she has dated English center-back football player Zatyiah “Zat” Knight. Knight and Hairston had a pretty serious relationship that started in 2013. The two kept a very low profile about their love life, thus making it difficult to retrieve the timeline of when they decided to call it quits. 

Nonetheless, it can be inferred that Hairston is happy with her new beau and will be participating in cuffing season.
