Dwyane Wade may be a best-selling author, a three-time NBA champion, and a loving father and husband, but there is one thing the 40-year-old has yet to achieve, at least according to his wife, Gabrielle Union.
The task, in particular, included the “stick and move” technique when dropping off the couple’s daughter, Kaavia James Union Wade, to school. The “stick and move” term describes how quickly and efficiently an individual is supposed to take their child to school.
In an Instagram post shared on Sept. 15, Gabrielle also revealed she was able to sleep in and “enjoy” her green juice because Dwyane was tasked with taking their daughter to school that day.
While uploading two photos of herself, Dwyane and Kaavia James posing together, Union wrote the caption, “Love it when @dwyanewade does drop off. Sure there’s more tears cuz he hasn’t mastered the art of the stick and move, but this extra sleep and time to enjoy my green juice tho…worth it”
As fans viewed the post, many brought up the “stick-and-move” technique and their experiences with it.
“That stick and move is top tier parenting!”
“Haha stick and move is a true art form!”
“Stick and move us primary caregivers know this move.”
“That stick and move is important ! Get out my car (laughing emoji).”
“Definitely gotta know how to STICK and MOVE.”
Among the previous remarks, others mentioned how much Kaavia James has grown after seeing the toddler in her school uniform. One wrote, “Omg! That time already? Wasn’t she just born…. I don’t know….. last week.”
Another said, “School I can’t take it she was just a baby I love her uniform.” A third Instagram user posted, “She’s growing on up with her little cute self.”
