‘Excuse My Language but We a Dope Family’: Savannah James Gushes about Her Family Dynamic and Her and LeBron’s Kids’ Futures

LeBron James and his wife, Savannah James, welcomed Vanity Fair into their Los Angeles mansion and revealed how it feels to live so successfully

The magazine published family portraits of the James couple with their three children, Bronny, 17, Bryce, 15, and Zhuri, 7, along with LeBron James’ mother, Gloria, and Savannah James’ parents, Jenner and JK Brinson, in various designer couturiers.

One photo showed Savannah poolside with her daughter Zhuri as she discussed her family’s lifestyle and what they choose to let the public in on. The 36-year-old entrepreneur admitted, “Everything isn’t for everybody.”

While the James family is very private with their home life, Mrs. James did not hesitate to gush about her family’s dynamic, telling the magazine, “Excuse my language, but we a dope family.”

“Dope” would be the understatement of the year if you asked some fans.

LeBron and Savannah’s oldest son, Bronny — who was pictured next to his father as they relaxed on a crown-shaped swim tube and then photographed once again standing beside his brother Bryce as their younger sister attempted to sketch her two older brothers — has been a highly discussed prospect for top-notch college basketball teams.

As for her son’s journey toward adulthood, Savannah sees this part of his life as one of “getting to a place to start to make decisions about his career and where he wants to go in life.”

While Bronny hasn’t committed to a designated home for his college basketball career, the 18-year-old has reportedly received offers from the Memphis Tigers and most recently the Ohio State University Buckeyes.

Middle child Bryce is a well-known basketball prospect himself, but is known as the “mystery of the family,” according to Savannah due to the fact that his career “could go in any direction.”

During the Vanity Fair interview, Savannah James discussed her boys’ development with basketball. She told the magazine, “It’s not something we’ve pushed or told them that they had to do, or anything like that. It just happened.”

As for Savannah and LeBron’s “wise-beyond-her-years” 7-year-old daughter, she has made a name for herself in the YouTube world. With over 200,000 subscribers, the young business woman in the making consistently uploads cooking videos with her parents as well as everyday life experiences.

Between spending quality time with their three children, maintaining individual and combined successful careers, and still making time for each other, LeBron and Savannah have their hands tied. Still, with all of the responsibilities, they manage to find time for the joy and fun in all of it.
