Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert’s daughter Junie has been watching her every move on stage, and it shows! From her personality, her love of music and dance, and her fashion flair, there is no denying that the 6-year-old is her mother’s mini-me.
Junie, real name Iman Tayla Shumpert, has been captivating her mother’s fans for the past few years. Such was the case when she managed to steal the show during Taylor’s Vegas show for her “The Last Rose Petal Tour” on Aug. 6. The star in the making nailed choreography breakdown alongside Taylor’s background dancers. With her mic in tow and red show costume, there was no telling the kid that the show did not belong to her as she worked the stage to a mashup of Disney’s “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and Doja Cat’s “Woman.”
“When they came to nyc last fall, the crowd cheered louder for junie than they did teyana!!! She’s going to be a star!!!” wrote one person who enjoyed Junie’s mini-show.
“Star in the making!!! She is her mother’s child!!! Don’t play with Junie!!”
“That baby is a SUPERSTAR! I can’t wait to see her change the game as she grows!!! I can see her selling out stadiums. They are amazing parents,” wrote a fan giving kudos to both Taylor and her husband, Iman Shumpert.
“Junie is the STAR ! She’s definitely gonna be an all around type of person! Acting, dancing, comedy, this kid has it all & a amazing personality to match!” wrote a fourth person. The recent performance was not the first time Junie managed to steal the spotlight when onstage.
While performing a medley of his hits, Diddy brought out Taylor for “Mo Money, Mo Problems” at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards in May. To the crowd’s surprise, the “Gonna Love Me” vocalist was not the only one to hit the stage. Junie also joined her mother and Diddy as she proceeded to execute a few dance moves. But when it comes to celebrity children have already proven they have star power Junie is not alone.
T.I. and Tiny’s daughter Heiress Harris has shown she too has a knack for singing and dancing. The 6-year-old has blown fans away as she belts out classic R&B and Pop cuts such as the ones her mother sang with her group Xscape.
