‘Duhh Look Who Their Parents Are’: Nick Cannon Uploads a Singing Video with Twin Children Monroe and Moroccan, Fans Gush Over It

Nick Cannon enjoyed a music-filled car ride with his older twin children, Monroe and Moroccan Cannon. The three were seen jamming out and lip-syncing to “Whoa” by late rapper Black Rob. Nick uploaded the amusing video onto Instagram where he captioned it, “So dope when your children have a love and respect for the culture you love and respect!!!”

Fans gushed over the trio’s musical performance and noted that the twins’ gifts stemmed from musically inclined parents. 

“Duhh, look who their parents are”

“Teaching the kids! This is mad cute”

“Y’all taught them well”

Nick shares Monroe and Moroccan with singing legend Mariah Carey; the two welcomed the fraternal duo on April 30, 2011, which also happens to be three years to the day after the ex-couple wed. They in 2016. 

Although Nick and Mariah are no longer together, the “Wild N’ Out” creator hasn’t shied away from opening up about the mistakes he made while being with her. On his daytime talk show Nick explained the meaning behind his single, “Alone” and further stated, “I had my dream girl, and I messed it up.”

A love reconciliation looks unclear for the two musicians, however a healthy co-parenting relationship is something they have obtained. Mariah and Nick have attended the Kids Choice Awards together, both parents pairing their outfits with the twins to match.

In a 2019 interview with radio personality Nessa Diab, Nick explained how acquiring a healthy relationship with his ex-wife is all about love. 

“Focusing on that unconditional love for the children and making sure that everyone wants the same thing. You want your children to be happy.” 

He also suggested once a parent takes their own self away from the equation, “I think everybody involved is focused on the correct things.”
