Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade looked fierce in Versace on the red carpet at the Met Gala on Monday, May 2. The “Cheaper By The Dozen” actress wore a silver gown with a large red flower accent on her waist while the former NBA star decided to show off his chiseled chest and abs in a white suit sans a shirt.
On Tuesday, May 3, Union shared a video on Instagram featuring footage of her and Wade from the big night. “When you’re in sync vs. when you aren’t. #MetGala2022.” she captioned the video with three laughing emojis.
The video begins with the stunning couple posing for the paparazzi. It then cuts to Union walking down a hall to meet her husband wearing a Fendi dress; Wade also is dressed differently than on the first video of the two. The two lock eyes as Union cradles Wade’s face before going in for a kiss. As she moves her hands down his waist, Wade says, “Oh you wanted porn?” to which his wife replied, “Basically.”
Wade was not aware it was a sexy shoot, according to someone out of the camera’s view who jokingly said, “Is this the OnlyFans?”
Based on Wade’s confused face, he wasn’t looking forward to participating in the couple’s latest antics. “I thought it was going to be something,” he added, before walking away from the camera’s view. “It’s straight porn.”
Union concludes the video by adding, “And this is where the comedy comes in.”
Fans were hollering after seeing Union’s short clip, sharing hundreds of laughing emojis in the comments. Many complimented the couple on their separate looks, while a handful focused on Wade’s facial expressions.

Many noticed how quickly Wade walked away from Union, including one who said, “Wow he wasn’t feeling you.” As fans zoomed in on Wade’s face, dozens brought up the couple’s 3-year-old daughter, Kaavia James. Their self-proclaimed “Shady Baby” is known for her many facial expressions, but most will always call her Daddy’s “twin.”
“Kaavia look just like her daddy OMG,” wrote one person. Another said, “D. Wade is giving Kaavia annoyed looks, that’s definitely his twin!”
Some others put their focus on Union, Kaavia’s mom, an award-winning actress. One wrote, “Gotta remember she was a great actor in ‘Deliver Us From Eva.’ “
