During a virtual appearance on “The Tamron Hall Show,” Knowles-Lawson disclosed how Carter helped her prepare for her new Lifetime film “Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story.”

Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story” –based on a Victoria Christopher Murray novel, which touches on the seven deadly sins– follows Chastity Jeffries, an attorney, that enters an interracial relationship with a white man that later becomes abusive following Jeffries’ brief encounter with her ex. Michelle Williams portrays chastity Jeffries.

The 68-year-old told Hall that when receiving word that she landed the project, Carter was the only one available to help her run lines.

She said at mark 12:50 of the interview while mentioning her husband, Richard Lawson, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams, “This came along it just kind of surprised me because I’m so busy. And nobody was available to help me. My husband actor and acting coach, he was doing a movie. Kelly [Rowland] was doing a movie. And so I’m like, ‘Who am I going to get to help me?’ So Blue Ivy was the only person available that could help me.”

Knowles-Lawson added how critical Carter was of her performance and even brought up how acting isn’t for her on numerous occasions.

“You know she was like if it said ‘is not’ and I say ‘isn’t.’ She says ‘no Grandma, I don’t know if this is for you.’ She told me that several times. I was like ‘Thank you, Blue, for making me really insecure.’ But she wanted me to get the lines perfect but she helped me, and Michelle [Williams] helped me go over the lines on the set.”

As Knowles-Lawson’s remarks about Carter’s critiques circulated online, many brought up how the 10-year-old is running the entire family.

“Lol we been knew she’s running the ship over there!!!”

“Blue Ivy runs the Knowles-Carter home like a naval ship.”

“Blue said you not bout to be on tv embarrassing us nana.”

“Blue manages the whole family.”

“Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story,” which stars Michelle Williams, Romeo Miller, Tina Knowles-Lawson and Antonio Cupo, is set to premiere on April 16, at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
