The couple, who set out for the trip earlier this week in honor of Smith-Harris’ 40th birthday, took photos in front of Villa La Valencia Beach Resort & Spa Los Cabos. Alongside the images — which included two snapshots of Smith-Harris and Harris and a group photo with other couples — Harris shared one of his wife’s past dreams while he was incarcerated.

In 2015, the “Love & Hip Hop” star was charged with drug trafficking and given an eight-to-ten year prison sentence. After taking a plea deal, Harris began serving his sentence the following year. He was ultimately released in January 2020.

While mentioning how he is “loving every moment” of making Smith-Harris’ dreams a reality, Harris wrote, “She used to tell me when I was away her dream was to travel with me. So I’m making her dreams come true and loving every moment.”

Following his post, Smith-Harris, who appeared touched by her husband’s caption, responded “Come on caption,” alongside a red heart emoji. As fans viewed Harris’ upload, many expressed similar sentiments as Smith-Harris in the comment section by writing how much they loved the caption and the couple.

“It’s the caption and love for me.”

“Love this, both of you meant to be together, enjoy every moment of your lives together.”

“Very sweet! Enjoy and be safe! You both deserve it!”

“This is the talk of a real gentleman love you both.”

“I know her heart is fill now! The best feeling in the world! Yes travel with your Queen! See the world!”

Among the previous remarks, others pointed out the Harris and Smith-Harris’ youthful appearance. One wrote, “These two are aging backwards.” Another said, “You guys are aging backwards.”
