‘The Original Knees’: Ciara Has Fans Jaws On the Floor Over Her ‘Balance Challenge’

When it comes to her dance moves, Ciara definitely still has it.

The singer and dancer uploaded an almost 40-second video of her performing the “balance challenge” and showing her followers how it’s done. In the video, which has been posted to both Instagram and TikTok, she squats on the tip of her toes, rolls her waist and pops her legs.

What makes the video even sexier is the mother of three having her topless back turned toward the camera the whole time as she does the hot moves on what appears to be the beach. The video starts by being close up on her butt, which is covered by a bright orange sarong, then pans out to show the rest of her body.

Fans gushed over Ciara’s knee strength in the comments. One person said, “The original Knees before all knees lol,” and another joked, “adding new knees to my Ciara prayer.” Some even joked about how her dance moves may lead to her and her husband, Russell Wilson, expanding their family.

“See this why Russell and You going to have another child go hawks,” wrote a fan. Wilson himself also decided to pop into his wife’s comments after watching the video. “see you later tonight after work hahaha 🤣 #TenToOne,” he said.

Ciara’s sexy dance moves were accompanied by the viral TikTok song “Love Nwantiti” by CKay, and the 36-year-old does all of this while balancing a bottle of Ten To One rum on her head. It’s no secret that Ciara was strategically promoting the Ten to One rum brand especially since she signed on as a co-owner in October of this year.

In a statement, she explained her decision to be an investor in the spirits brand. She said, “Not only is the product exceptional, but Marc [the CEO] has helped the brand establish a clear and authentic point of view. I knew immediately that I had to get involved! I couldn’t be more excited to help the brand build on its amazing foundation, and invite new audiences to rediscover their love for rum through Ten To One.”

“She Got Balance. #balancechallenge That @TenToOneRum is fun,” she wrote in the caption.

Independent journalism doesn't fund itself.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
