While taking family photos, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s daughter Kaavia James Union Wade looked utterly unbothered.
In an Instagram post, Thursday, Nov. 25, fans zoomed in on family photos Union shared, including Kaavia and Wade’s 14-year-old Zaya, in front of the Christmas tree.
“Happy Thanksgiving From The Wades,” Union wrote in the caption on Instagram, followed by a string of turkey emojis.
Union, Wade and Zaya smiled into the camera in one shot while 3-year-old Kaavia focused on something to the right. Her attention seemed to be elsewhere while her family laughed in another photo.
Fans in the comments section praised Union and Wade’s “beautiful” family, including those who pointed out their favorite from the photos.
“Kaavia attention is elsewhere,” wrote one individual, while another said, “Lil boss babe is such a mood.”
Using her right hand to hold up her chin, Kaavia posed in a black shirt that read, “Boss Babe,” with black leather shorts, tights, headpiece, and red crossbody bag.
“It’s Kaavia for me!” wrote a third person. “Her shirt, her bag, matching scarf plus the pose… omg!”
One person zoomed in to get a closer look at Kaavia’s black, red, white, and yellow headpiece, representing colors from a pattern common in the Central African nation of Angola.
“Wow. [I] just noticed your little baby has on her head the Samakaka pattern headband,” a fourth person wrote. “(If no one knows, Samakaka is an African pattern traditionally used in Angola, more precisely Luanda where I am from).”
Fans gushed over Kaavia and Zaya, yet they failed to mention their retired NBA star dad, Dwyane Wade. But one brought up Union’s youthful skin, writing, “Gabby look like one of the kids lol.”
Union and Wade began dating in 2009 and celebrated seven years of marriage on Aug. 30. The two co-parent Wade’s children, Zaya, Zaire Blessing Dwyane, 19, and 7-year-old Xavier Zechariah, and his nephew Dahveon Morris. Union and Wade welcomed their first child, Kaavia, in 2018, via surrogacy.
