Tia Mowry is celebrating her mother’s birthday.
The twin, who is known as one-half of “Sister, Sister,” made a post showing most of her family getting together to celebrate her mother’s special day. Tia’s first photo was of her and her mother, Darlene, smiling, while the second was of her, her mother, her brothers Tahj and Tavior, Tavior’s wife, Zandy, and Tia’s children, Cree and Cairo, taking a big group photo.
In the two slides, Tia and her siblings all sang happy birthday to their mother and she and one brother cheered over a drink. It’s not clear how old her mother is turning but it does appear that she had a good time.
In the caption, she wrote, “Family time is the best time! We had so much fun celebrating my amazing mom last night at dinner. Can you tell we like to have fun?! (And laugh at Cairo’s faces? She is always serving up something, ya’ll! 🤣).”
Fans commented on the video, writing about her mother’s skin. “Your mom’s skin is amazing,” said one, and, “Mama’s skin 😍😍😍. She’s gorgeous” wrote another.
Tamera Mowry, who is Tia’s twin and the other half of “Sister, Sister” was not there with her other siblings, but it looks like she celebrated with her mother a little closer to her birthday, which is Oct. 25.
On Oct. 27, she shared a video of her husband and her children, Aiden and Aria, singing happy birthday to mother Darlene over dinner. “Mommy! Happy birthday!!! Man we are blessed to have you as our momma. Thank you for all the amazing wisdom, love, and laughter. Your smile and spirit light up any room. We love you,” she wrote.
Tamera, who has previously revealed how protective she is over her mother when she was still a host on “The Real,” also explained that her mother and father, Timothy Mowry, are divorced.
Opening up about how she feels in regard to her mom’s dating life, Tamera told her other co-hosts at the time, “I am so over-protective over my mom. And this is new. I mean, they’ve been divorced for four years, but it took me a while to accept that. And now my mom is out there… I guess she’s dating. But she just; she’s very private.”
