‘Boo Just Stick to Being the Boss Babe’: Yandy Smith’s Attempt at a TikTok Dance Challenge Left Fans In Tears

Former “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star Yandy Smith recently got inspired to try out one of the many TikTok dances created each week; however, her routine didn’t go according to plan. Still, it left plenty of material for her 6.9 million Instagram fans to giggle over.

Over the weekend, the reality star shared a hilarious seven-and-a-half-minute clip of her trying a viral internet routine she initially saw performed by model and social media personality Joie Chavis and her daughter Shai Moss, the 10-year-old she shares with rapper Bow Wow.

Following her first attempt, Yandy felt something was off, writing, “I was like Naaaah that ain’t how JOIE does it. Let me try one more time!” Unfortunately, her second try may have been worse than when she initially started, struggling to keep with the “Bop-It” like hand motions.

“When you see me look down I’m looking at her video for reference. Thought I could learn it and teach Skylar @omereandskylar,” she wrote in the caption. “Clearly I ain’t got that @joiechavis type of dance in me.”

After several more attempts, let’s just say things didn’t improve, and fans, who viewed the post over 777,900 times, were quick to point that out but still offered some words of support to soften the blow. “But sis why did it get worse each time you tired lmbo!!!” asked one Instagram user. “Love you though!!”

Another wrote, “YANDY!!!!!! Please get off my time line!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 I am in real tears. Mainly because you look JUST like how my gfs and I looked the other day trying to get her this choreography together 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.”

Others couldn’t get enough of the star’s laser-focused facial expressions, as she’d shared, “When you see me look down I’m looking at her video for reference.”

“It’s the concentration for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣 A for effort lol,” wrote a third. “Lmao naw Yandy boo just stick to being the boss babe that you are , leave the choreography to the Joies of the world but u look cute,” said another.

The successful entrepreneur ultimately gave up and went off to wash her face. Yandy, who began on the New York installment of the reality series, recently shifted gears and can be viewed on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” as one of the show’s many new cast members during this 10th season.
