Draya Michele donned some sexy pieces from her very own swimwear line, Mint Swim, in celebration of a new distribution deal.
Draya launched her line in 2011, and after a decade of hard work her dedication appears to be paying off. On Jan. 15, the reality TV star announced that her brand has launched an exclusive swimwear line, which is now available for purchase on the PacSun retail website.
Michele reiterated her excitement over the partnership, which she hopes will broaden her audience, in a statement. “Iβm excited to partner with PacSun and expand Mint Swim into the wholesale market for the first time, and to give our customers the ability to touch, feel and experience our garments like never before,” Michele said in a press release, according to People. “PacSun sets the standard for California style and Iβm proud for the opportunity to collaborate with them on this exclusive collection, while also introducing Mint Swim to a broader audience.”
Since launching the brand, Michele has been intentional about the way she uses social media marketing to help grow her business. “I started Mint Swim in 2011, and by 2015 it was a million-dollar company, which was a huge milestone for me,” she told Paper in 2017. “In the years since, social media has grown enormously in terms of social-commerce and opening up endless avenues for marketing and brand-consumer interaction.”
Staying connected with her consumers is key to her strategy, and she credits Instagram with helping her maintain and grow that relationship. “It has always been important to me to connect with my customers to understand them and their buying trends, and Instagram plays an integral role in making that connection,” she explained.

In addition to her swimwear line, acting and reality TV gigs, Michele has been steadily committed to growing her empire. She launched clothing lines Fine Ass Girls in 2013 and Beige & Coco in 2016, and, more recently, opened Brand Nails, an express nail bar, in 2018.
