Keyshia Cole is officially divorced!
The “Let It Go” singer is legally a single woman and she’s celebrating the end of her marriage after recently finalizing her split with ex-husband Daniel “Booby” Gibson.
Cole announced the news via Instagram on Thursday, Sept. 3, alongside a photo of herself profusely smiling.
“I’m so damn happy my divorce is FINALLY, FINAL!!!” she exclaimed. “This is not a SHADE POST PROMISE! Just a genuinely happy post, that that weight is lifted from over both our heads💜💜 #PARTY IN #MALIBU 🥰.”
Cole and Gibson wed in 2011, a year after welcoming their son Daniel Gibson Jr.
In October 2014, the mother of two separated from the former Cleveland Cavaliers player after he allegedly cheated on her with multiple women. She filed to end her marriage with Gibson in 2017, citing irreconcilable differences.
In January 2019, Cole said their custody arrangements regarding their son kept her from finalizing her divorce. Reports circulated around that time that Gibson was seeking full custody and spousal support from her, allegations he denied.
After nearly three years of going back and forth in court, the former couple finally reached a settlement agreement last month. Cole nor Gibson will have have to pay spousal or child support to each other. They also share joint custody of their son and will cover any costs incurred when he’s with either parent.
Cole’s cheerful divorce announcement received met with many congratulatory messages from her fans.

It’s unclear where Cole’s boo Niko Khale stands in all of this, seeing as they allegedly split in July.
However, the singer seems to be focused on enjoying life, reflected by her recently writing in her IG bio, “Choosing to be happy EVERYDAY!” She’s also working on her eighth studio album, which she has yet to release any details about.
