Alexis Skyy is twinning with her baby girl Alaiya Grace in a post on Instagram. On Thursday, Aug. 27, the 26-year-old took to her social media and shared an adorable snap from a recent family outing.
The former “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star shared a group photo of her, her daughter Alaiya and three unidentified companions dolled up in matching Cynthia Rowley beachwear. The outfits featured various floral patterns in an assortment of colors. “As long as our kids straight we straight❤️ #noigtati ,” the reality star captioned the adorable snap.
It wasn’t long before fans pointed out how protective Alaiya seemed as she looked up at her mommy. One fan commented, “La La, Is looking like Take Your Hands Off My Mother.. GO GETTEM TIGERS!!!! BE BLESSED💜💜💜💜💜,” reference to tween girl in the photo who had placed her hand on Alexis’ shoulder. Another fan commented, “You can tell she love her mother she just looking right at you♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾good job mom.” A third user commented, “She looking up like AHT AHT stop touching my mama 😩😂😂🥰🥰🥰.”
A fourth user left some words of encouragement for the mother, writing, “We single moms do this, @alexisskyy_ big up yuh self goodie 👸🏽👸🏽❤️💅🏽.” A fourth fan echoed those sentiments saying, “You are a great mom.. don’t let no one take that from you!!!”
The mommy-daughter duo have had their fans exulting over their bond for some time now. Most recently, the model shared a video of the 2-year-old singing. Alexis claimed the toddler took her phone and recorded her vocals while she was asleep.
In the now-deleted IG video, baby Alaiya appeared to be singing “Baa Baa Black Sheep” while recording a video of their ceiling. Alexis gushed over the post and wrote, “Omg look what I found in my phone I was dead sleep and she took my phone to record.”
It’s uncertain why Alexis deleted the clip from her page, but it may involve online trolls who have said cruel things about her child in the past. Alaiya is a special-needs child. In May 2020, the reality star told Hollywood Unlocked CEO Jason Lee how she dealt with the “disgusting” people who attack her child online. “I don’t really let the Internet get to me.” She added, “At first, it did bother me but I just learned to kind of just block it out because it’s disgusting, she’s a baby. If you’re that evil to talk about a kid or what I went through, you’re just an evil person. So I just learned to just tune that part out.”
Still, despite the mean comments she may receive, the proud mommy continues to share precious moments from her daughter’s life.
