The “Kings of Comedy” actor took to Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 26, and penned a brief yet sweet birthday message to his stepson, who turned 30 years old.
“Happy birthday son … proud of you and the man you’ve become,” Steve wrote, alongside a handsome photo of Jason looking dapper in a charcoal fedora and white sweater.
Jason’s hazel eyes also captivated fans and reminded them of his mother’s. From the first glance, folks were blown away by his striking resemblance to Marjorie.
“Happy birthday he looks just like his mother,” an IG user commented. Another added, “He is his mother’s twin‼️‼️ HBD Jason and many many more 🎊.”
Someone else wrote, “Happy Birthday! He looks just like Marjorie. Splitting image of his momma!”
“Happy Birthday young man. Omg, you look just like yo’ Mama,” another user noted.
Steve and Marjorie have a blended family of seven children and six grandchildren.
The “Family Feud” host has two sons and two daughters from his past two marriages and Marjorie has two daughters and a son from her prior relationships.
Steve told People magazine in 2016 their children were not initially onboard with the idea of blending their households.
“I said, ‘Look, you don’t like it? Deal with it. I don’t need y’all’s permission,” said the 63-year-old television host.
His wife, however, took a different approach with their children. “When you’re dealing with a blended family, everyone is coming from a place of broken,” said Marjorie. “We knew this was right. But I just told them, ‘Everyone is included. Everyone has access to their parents. Whatever you didn’t have before, don’t let that interfere with what you can have now.’”
Steve and Marjorie tied the knot in 2007 after first meeting each other in 1990. They celebrated 12 years of marital bliss last year with a gorgeous IG photo. The father of four penned a sweet message to his wife and wrote, “Happy anniversary to the chick of my dreams.”
