Draya Michele wears many hats. When the 35-year-old reality star isn’t busy managing her company Mint Swimwear or taking care of her two sons 4-year-old Jru Scandrick and 17-year-old Knicko Howard, she’s in the kitchen whipping up a healthy meal for her family.
The former cast member of “Basketball Wives” flaunted her elaborate cooking skills in a Tuesday, Aug. 18 Instagram post. Draya posted a photo that showed her proudly holding her dinner plate, which was filled with flavorful salmon steak, mouth-watering noodles and tasteful snow peas. “First time making a salmon steak (this particular cut) -i always make regular salmon filets,” she began her caption. “and I made my classic garlic noodles and snow peas. This cut of fish may be my new fav, it has bones tho,” she wrote before explaining that the recipes to her dinner were available on her YouTube Channel.
Draya’s meal received over 40,000 likes and some 400 comments from fans complimenting her cooking. “This plate looks deliciousš,” someone wrote underneath the image. Another person gushed: “It looks so bomb š,” followed by somebody else who mentioned, “Wow looks delicious šš¾šš¾.” A fourth fan commented: “Looks very indulging delishšš.”
Draya is undeniably fit, thanks to her rigorous exercise plan and healthy diet. The Pennsylvania native flaunts washboard abs in her sexy drawstring bikinis often, but she explained in a 2019 interview with BET that her jaw-dropping figure stems from her strict eating habits. āI am six months pescatarian. Iāve tried to limit my chicken and red meat consumption a lot. I try to drink a lot of water. I try to work out. My downfalls are sweets. I really love sweets. And alcohol goes with partying. If Iām going to drink, I try to diet. If Iām not going to diet, I try to skip dessert,ā she said.
“Dieting is always going to be a struggle, so thatās why you have to balance it with working out. I donāt eat whatever I want, but if I do eat whatever I want, I at least got to work out to make it even.ā
