On Wednesday, Aug. 12, Marjorie Harvey addressed a fan who claimed, perhaps in jest, that her husband Steve Harvey stepped out on their marriage. The 54-year-old fashionista shared a photo on Instagram that showed her looking unenthusiastic as she sat on her leather couch and placed one hand on her forehead.
The mother of three went for a natural look, wearing her authentic hair in a ponytail and going makeup-free. Marjorie’s nails were painted clear and the creator of The Lady Loves Couture blog sported a black short-sleeved shirt. When describing her mood, she wrote in her caption: “Today đ.” One social media user noticed her expression and said underneath the post: “Steve cheatedđđđ…” She responded, “Only on his dietđ.”
Before walking down the aisle with Marjorie in 2007, the now 63-year-old comedian was married to his first wife Marcia Harvey for 14 years and his second wife Mary Lee Harvey for nine. Mary and Steve had a messy divorce in 2005, during which she claimed the “Family Feud” game show host cheated on her with Marjorie.
Steve and Marjorie met for the first time in 1987 while the “Think Like a Man” author was performing at a comedy club in her hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. Steve was a struggling up-and-coming comedian and was homeless at the time. They dated for one year before they called their relationship quits. The couple reconnected years later, around the time Steve was going through a divorce with Mary.
Together, Steve and Marjorie have a blended family of seven children. The businessman and his first wife Marcia are the parents to their twin daughters Brandi and Karli Harvey and their son Broderick Harvey Jr. He has another son in Wynton Harvey, whom he shares with Mary.
Marjorie has three children of her own from a previous marriage: Morgan Harvey–Hawthornez, Jason Harvey and Lori Harvey. Her children took Steve’s last name shortly after they got married.
