It looks like Yandy Smith-Harris and her husband Mendeecees Harris are at a crossroads over personal space.
Smith-Harris took to Instagram on Monday, Aug. 10, and shared a photo of herself and her husband apparently having a serious conversation. The image read “Mendeecees Asks Yandy for Space.”
Alongside the photo, the mother of two added, “We taking y’all on this journey with us🤦🏾♀️🤯 thoughts??”
Fans who didn’t watch the video assumed Harris wanted to separate or possibly split from his wife.
One fan commented, “Can’t make anyone man be were he dont wanna be … Space s–t.. 😢.”
Another person wrote, “Why are these women taking s–t from these guys these guys are corrup in a different way. Cheating are u kidding some guys don’t even want these women just using them for some reason.”
One user said he/she was praying for the couple and commented on Smith-Harris’ post, “I pray that you all stay together Yandy and Mendeecees because your wedding on love of hip-hop was so beautiful I was so happy for you guys so I hope that this is just a rumor you guys make a great team🥉.”
“I didnt watch the bio, however now that he is back Yandy never mentions him, everything is her and the kids she still acts single,” a critic said. “I do love them together they need counseling.”
Smith-Harris responded to the naysayer’s comment and fired back, “girl you sound foolish. Click the link in my bio and watch the video 😩🙄🙄🙄🙄.”
It turns out that the “Love and Hip Hop: New York” couple are contemplating about buying a bigger home for more space.
On their YouTube Channel “Meet the Harris,” the music executive complained about his wife’s clothes and belongings occupying the majority of their house, also leaving him with a minimal amount of closet space. He told Smith-Harris he needed more space and suggested they move into a bigger home.
Smith-Harris and her husband married in 2015 and share two children together.
The pair celebrated their anniversary in May and Smith-Harris penned a heartwarming message to her husband.
“Baby love…thanks for helping me become a grown woman @Mendeecees,” she wrote via Instagram on May 25. “Happy Anniversary Honey Bunches of Oats and Melanin😩🙏🏾❤️ #FirstSightTypeofThing.”
