Lyrica Anderson and her estranged husband A1 Bentley are attempting to salvage their marriage one last time. The reality stars of “Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood” recently made a debut on The Zeus Network’s “The Conversation,” where the pair hashed out their marital differences.
Folks who watch the show know that Lyrica and A1’s marriage originally crumbled after rumors swirled that Lyrica had sex with their co-star Safaree Samuels. Lyrica denied the cheating allegations, claiming that she texted the rapper for business advice. When A1 went through his wife’s phone, he discovered that the text messages between the two were deleted.
Last fall, A1 stepped out on his marriage and admitted to Lyrica that he had sex with their castmate Summer Bunni multiple times. At the time, Lyrica was pregnant with their now 1-year-old son Ocean Zion Bentley.
Lyrica and A1 discussed their marital problems during the season six “LHHH” reunion. The couple broke down in tears, causing the audience to be confused about the status of their relationship. When the reunion ended, the couple seemed committed to working out their problems. However, it appears that something went wrong because they are now back on the verge of a divorce.
The trailer for “The Conversation” dropped on The Zeus Network’s Instagram page on Sunday, June 28. A1 told his wife at the 00:08 mark, “I did you wrong, made a mistake, cheated, you couldn’t get over it.” Lyrica implied that she was having a “hard time” being with someone that was not completely faithful.
Some fans reacted to the clip and expressed the idea that the pair should not be discussing their martial problems on reality television. One user wrote: “Stop exploiting your marriage.” Another chimed in and said: “So they think putting everyone in their personal business for money is gonna save their marriage😂😂😂.” A third user commented: “Ugh Nope.”
Singer Ray J and his soon-to-be ex-wife Princess Love are the executive producers of the episode. In March, the former couple hashed out their marital woes in a similar taping of “The Conversation.” Ray J and Princess officially split and Princess filed for divorce almost two months after the episode premiered.
Lyrica and A1’s special will feature Lyrica Garrett, Lyrica’s mother, and Pamela Bentley, A1’s mother. The episode is scheduled to air on The Zeus Network on Sunday, July 15 at 8 EST.
