‘Cherish Those Moments’: Yandy Smith Says She Misses Doing This with Her Children

Nothing makes fans smile more than seeing sweet snaps of Yandy Smith-Harris with her family.

Smith-Harris, 38, shared a beautiful photo of herself and her two children Skylar Harris, 5, and Omere Harris, 7, to Instagram on Thursday, June 4, and reflected on their days together prior to the pandemic.

“I miss the days I used to take my babies to school. Work the afternoon away with out a nerf gun bullet stuck in my hair. God bless all of you. Good morning,” the mother of two wrote.

The image showed Smith-Harris’ dressed to the nines in a black-and-white patterned dress and heels while walking her kids to school. Omere and Skylar appeared to be caught off guard by the camera.

Instagram users related to Smith-Harris’ message and gushed over the post. One fan wrote, “I know! I miss that too Yandy! 😩🤦🏾‍♀️❤I looove your dress!! The pandemic taught me to cherish those moments with my kids because time goes by fast.” A second person added,”I love Mama Yandy. Motherhood looks good on her. She’s probably going to have more. I see her having like 5 kids. 🤣.” Another user remarked, “Awwww ❤️ 😍 the. Mommas. 😍 God Bless you Sis, Keep up the good work! You are a wonderful mother,” and a fourth commented, “I Love Y’all And You All Are Such A Beautiful Family 😍. I miss taking my kids to school too!”

Smith-Harris shares her two children with husband Mendeecees Harris, whom she celebrated her fifth year of marriage with in May.

For the couple’s anniversary, the music manager penned a sweet message to her husband via Instagram. She wrote on May 25, “Baby love…thanks for helping me become a grown woman @Mendeecees. Happy Anniversary Honey Bunches of Oats and Melanin😩🙏🏾❤️ #FirstSightTypeofThing”

Harris also expressed his love for his wife and wrote to Smith-Harris, “5yrs ago today, Was a day I’ll never forget…. Love u @yandysmith and can’t wait to enjoy many more with u!”

The couple tied the knot in 2015. Omere and Skylar are the only two children they share together. Smith-Harris is also a foster mother to Infinity Gilyard, 17. Harris also has sons Mendeecees Harris Jr., 14, and 8-year-old Aasim Harris from prior relationships.
