Karlie Redd became the talk of social media this week, after folks clowned a recent photo of her.
On Monday, May 25, “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” star “Shekinah Anderson uploaded an Instagram post of herself, Redd and their fellow castmates posing together for a group picture. Anderson tagged the ladies in her photo and wrote, “It was great seeing my girls tonight!!! I love you all!!!! 😘❤️”
While the majority of the women were dolled up, Anderson and Redd went for a more natural look. The comments on the post quickly went left, after fans claimed it was an unflattering photo of Redd.
“Sierra disabled her comments for a reason i see 💀” one person wrote, perhaps assuming that Gates wouldn’t want any negative feedback about the cast members’ looks in her comments section.
“What worng with Karlie?🤔”
“Karlie weak af with out make up po tink tink 😩”
“Damn is that Karlie?”
“Karlie Shouldn’t have messed with her face 😞”
“Who in tf is that behind Spice😱. We ain’t neva seen karlie without makeup look like a different person”
The post featuring Redd comes a few months after folks accused her of undergoing facial reconstructive surgery. Also, in a March 20 post, the mother of one posted a beauty shot of herself and fans assumed she received lip fillers due to her off-putting appearance.
“I can’t believe what Karlie did to her face,” a fan said.
“Am I the only one who noticed Karlie’s injections,” a second person asked.
Someone else commented, “Why Would Karlie Get Her Lips That Big 😐.”
In more recent news, fans learned Redd and her fellow “LHHATL” cast member Sierra Gates were no longer on speaking terms.
On the current season of the show, the former friends got into an explosive physical altercation after Redd failed to show up on time for court to help the makeup artist with her case. Gates later publicly apologized for assaulting Redd. Despite her kind gesture, she told Atlanta Black Star on May 18 that she and Redd no longer talk.
“We really don’t speak anymore, so that’s basically it,” said Gates.
Redd, however, has yet to speak on the matter.
