Keyshia Cole is apparently struggling to keep up her appearance while sheltering in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The “Heaven Sent” singer gave fans a glimpse of her natural hair and beauty this week without the glitz and the glam. She took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 14 with a soundless video that shows her current looks.
Cole panned the camera over her face and pixie cut. She noted that her appearance was taking a hit as a result of hair salons and beauty services being closed.
Cole added in her caption, “I permed my hair last night. 4Th time in my entire life, But I’m tired of it being Half ass curly. I kno my lashes are hideous, but it’s all I got here at home. Idk how I’m gonna make it through this work week. Anybody wanna send my some 😢 #HaveAGoodDayOnPurpose #HaveAGreatDayOnPurpose #QuarantineVibes”
In contrast, her fans thought she still looked gorgeous.

Cole’s beauty post comes just days after her online feud with rapper O.T. Genasis.
The “Everybody Mad” musician took to his Instagram Live session on April 12 and made crude comments about her personal hygiene. Cole hit back at Genasis with a retweet of a turtle that read, “Hope this font go over some of u lame ass turtle head looking ass niggas heads! And h-e ass b–ch niggas ain’t exempt.” She added in a separate message, “I’m so …. don’t kno how to feel. This tortoise face ass …. I can’t.”
Things took a turn for the worst when Cole’s family got involved in the incident. Genasis apologized for the melee and wrote, “I just be playin wit u cuz u played with me. I ain’t trippin off you cuh! It’s all just fun.”
He deleted his apology moments later.
