Kenya Moore appears to be happy to get out of the house these days. Moore, a former Miss USA pageant winner, posted a video to her IGTV story on Wednesday, April 8, of her dancing in her self-driving car, a Tesla. Moore took her hands off of the wheel and began turning up to the beat of the music. Her no-hands driving riled fans up, and now they are claiming Moore is a reckless driver.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reality star seemingly was enjoying her ride to the grocery store. Moore swung her long black hair back and forth as the 2019 rap song “My Type” played loudly through her car speakers. Moore implied she was in good spirits amid the pandemic. “Everything a mess but so happy 🤣,” she shared in her caption. Unfortunately, her fans might have put a damper on her day because they called her out for not paying attention to the road.
One user asked, “Are you driving and doing this?”
“I think this is so irresponsible for her to post this while on the road driving. I don’t care if the car drives it’s self or not. It’s ridiculous 👎🤬,” a second fan vented.
“Soooo the car driving it self…,” a third user mentioned.
“Please keep your eyes on the road,” a fourth begged.
A fifth fan said, “I pray she not driving and doing this🙏🏾.”
“So is this when the car is on auto pilot? LOL,” a sixth mentioned.
A seventh fan wrote, “she said ride not drive! Lol #handsfree.”
“When the Tesla drives itself! 💅🏾💅🏾,” said an eighth.
Moore and her daughter, Brooklyn Daly witnessed the scene of a terrible car crash in front of their Atlanta-area home last December. Moore posted video footage of the accident to her Instagram page shortly after the mishap occurred. The driver rammed a mini SUV into Moore’s cement mailbox. The vehicle flipped upside down once and then crashed on its side.
The incident psychologically shook up Moore, so many fans were confused about why she seemingly risked her life by driving without her hands on the wheel.
Most Tesla models come equipped with an autopilot function that can control the electric vehicles’ steering in many on-the-road situations.
