‘They’re So Petty’: Keyshia Cole and O.T. Genasis Exchange Words After He Challenges 21 Savage to a Sing-Off

It looks like Keyshia Cole and O.T. Genasis are back at it again.

After a series of Instagram battles between musicians and music artists, the “Everybody Mad” rapper wanted in. Fellow rap artist 21 Savage hopped on Instagram Live last week, singing a list of R&B classics including Cole’s infamous single “Love.” Nevertheless, O.T. challenged 21 Savage to an R&B sing-off battle and wrote on his now-deleted IG story, “[21 Savage], you have a beautiful voice, bro. I say we have a sing-off.”

Instagram blog The Shade Room re-posted the California native’s IG Story and asked fans whose side they chose. Cole chimed into the comment section and typed, “@21savage.” Genasis caught wind of the singer’s vote. He responded, “Don’t start wit me again 😈.”

In December, Cole and Genasis began beefing when he created his rendition of her hit song “Love” with his cover “Never Knew,” apparently without her permission. Their feud seemingly caused Cole to delete all of her social media accounts afterward.

After Genasis warned the 38-year-old crooner not to start with her again, she replied, “Never ‘Started with you’ sir. 😂Now scram. Do the sing off.”

In December, on her Fox Soul’s talk show, Cole addressed her issue with Genasis and said she was hurt he didn’t reach out to her before creating his own rendition of her single “Love.”

“I think it’s kinda hurtful a little bit, too, as an artist because there was no, ‘Hey, how you doin’? How you feel about this?’ ‘Cause that’s what you do if you an artist,” she said. ” If I wanna remix a Prince song Imma go to Prince and figure out if I can use that. Or if I wanted to use … like how I did ‘Let It Go’ and I redid that.”
