Porsha Williams left her fans crying with laughter on March 25. The longtime cast member of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” attempted to do the viral “Savage” TikTok dance challenge, but she seemingly did not know the original dance choreography to make her internet performance successful.
The reality star looked breathtaking in her two-piece burnt-orange-and-brown ensemble. Fans thought they were in for a treat when Williams pulled up to the ‘Gram seemingly prepared to show social media users her dance. She started the “Savage” challenge by making “uh, uh” noises and then she began performing the correct dance steps. However, as her performance progressed, she seemingly forgot the order of the choreography and asked her mother for help. She ended her awkward performance by winding her derriere and free-styling the rest of her movements.
The Pampered by Porsha sheets founder knew her TikTok dance was a flop, and promised fans that she would have the dance mastered later in the evening. Williams uploaded the video to her social media and poked fun at herself for messing up her performance. “I’m trying 😩😩😩😩😂😂 y’all some dayum professional dancers 🤦🏾♀️,” she wrote to her followers.
Many of her fans loved her for trying the hit millennial dance and teased her on social media for ruining the challenge.
“That’s how I was just looking in the kitchen 😂😂😂,” one user explained.
A second fan jokingly wrote, “Talkin bout some UGH UGH UGH.”
“She got that nasty part DOWN,” a third user commented.
A fourth fan said,”Girl you are brave because I was not posting my off beat attempts 😂😭😭.”
“When you keep messing the dance up so you start fixing your clothes lmfaooooo 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣,” a fifth virtually laughed.
“🤣🤣🤣 Practice first then come back and try,” a sixth encouraged.
Williams appears to take her TikTok challenges very seriously. A few weeks ago she and her fiancé, Dennis McKinley, participated in the “Flip the Switch” TikTok dance challenge.
Unlike the “Flip the Switch” challenge, where two people literally change into each other’s clothes when they turn off a light, the “Savage” challenge derived from one of Megan Thee Stallion‘s biggest fans, Keara Wilson. Wilson listened to the Houston’s rapper’s new single “Savage” and came up with the original choreography for the dance. Wilson’s mission was to turn her dance into an internet phenomenon, and Megan Thee Stallion made her dream come true.
The Texas native shared her video to her personal Instagram page, and her No. 1 fan went viral a few days later. The premise of the challenge is for people to copy the original TikTok dance choreography as Megan Thee Stallion’s song blasts in the background.
