Kenya Moore apparently made a mistake translating something her 1-year-old daughter said, and fans are letting her have it.
Moore of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” posted an adorable video of baby Brooklyn Daly to her Instagram page on the morning of Thursday, March 18. The clip showed the toddler standing in the family’s sunroom, wearing a leopard print onesie. Moore’s daughter started clapping her hands and seemingly yelling, “Doggy.”
The new mother interrupted her daughter on camera and responded, “No, daddy’s in New York. Mommy said come here.” She also added in her caption, “@thebrooklyndaly tried to escape out the patio to see her daddy in NY where the city is on lockdown. 😔😷 #toddler #toddlerlife #miraclebaby”
Fans, however, claimed they heard baby Brooklyn say, “doggy” and not “daddy.” Others believed Moore just wanted to mention her estranged husband, Marc Daly, in the video.

Moore and Daly welcomed their baby girl together in November 2018.
The two are currently going through a divorce, according to the recent events and episodes of “RHOA.” The former Miss USA even removed her husband’s last name from her Instagram handle. Rumors of infidelity surrounded the pair last year, and the 48-year-old television personality confirmed on the show this season that she caught Daly conversing with another woman on the phone during their marriage.
In September 2019, Moore and Daly released joint divorce statements. Moore stated to People magazine, “It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband Marc Daly. Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is and will always be my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”
Daly added, “I have come to the difficult decision to separate from Kenya at this time. Our daughter has two parents that love her very much and in her best interests, this situation should remain as private as possible.”
The pair have yet to officialize their divorce. They were, however, seen spending time together in February.
