Since her welcome into the world Kaavia James Wade has been stealing the limelight from her parents Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union.
With her chubby cheeks, adorable toddler giggles and blossoming personality, it’s no surprise that Union highlights their mommy-daughter moments with posts to social.
One-year-old Kaavia, also known as “Shady Baby,” has been serving up side eyes, blank stares and sneaky smirks from the beginning. But in a recent post shared to Union’s IG, the little one is seen in full giggle while sharing a seat with her smiling mother.
Union captioned the photo, “My new Spades partner got jokes!! Lmaoooo why does she look like she’s roasting somebody?!!”
Fans tickled by the adorable pic couldn’t help but to swoon over the youngest Wade.

Having a daughter has been one of Union’s most-fulfilling feats in life, so much so that she found ways to feature her daughter in her business endeavors — from her Kaavia James clothing line at New York & Company to recently authoring her first children’s book title “Welcome to the Party.”
The title is inspired not only by the little one, but more specifically Union’s post announcing Wade’s arrival to the world.
“Since the birth of my daughter, I’ve been even more inspired to create stories that are not only representative of the cultural melting pot we live in, but also celebrate life and the fun, teachable lessons that come at every age.”
