It looks like sharp dresser Steve Harvey recently committed a fashion faux pas.
The “Kings of Comedy” comedian shared a throwback video of himself trying on a green bubble vest that he wore at the start of the new year. However, the vest Harvey wore was originally paired with a long green cardigan coat and pair of slacks.
He asked fans for their thoughts on the coat, writing in his Instagram caption, “So I wore the green vest on New Years but I passed on the coat.. Was this a opportunity missed or no? #tbt”
Several fans were confused by Harvey’s wardrobe choice, while others dragged him.
“Is that a kilt,” one fan asked. “Look like u wearing my velvet couch 😂”
Another wrote, “Man it ain’t St Patty’s day yet.”
A third added, “U right steve pass on that ,loud green coat😢. No.. looking like a Tibetan woman glad it was missed🤣…you wore what should have been worn.”

The 63-year-old talk show host has always been known for his peculiar fashion style.
Harvey used to wear his signature baggy suits until he married his wife Marjorie Harvey. She apparently upgraded his style and transformed him into the sharp dressing man fans know today.
“Marjorie changed my style,” he said on the “Steve Harvey” show — cancelled in 2017. “You couldn’t tell me nothing. I was as butterfly as I could be. My pants was this wide; all my shoes had to match my hats.
He added, “That girl right there transformed me, but I had the sense to listen. I ain’t gone be on no game show, I wouldn’t have no talk show, they not putting that on tv. She saw that, she changed all that.”
Marjorie celebrated her husband’s 63rd birthday last month with a sexy photo of them both dressed in white. She wrote in her caption, “Happy birthday baby 😘”
Fans gushed over their relationship and reminded Steve how lucky he was to have his wife.
“Oh y’all just showing all the way off… Happy birthday Unk 🎂 ! This is grown and sexy vibes,” a fan wrote at the time.
