“Black Ink Crew: Chicago” fans have questions after Ryan Henry was spotted enjoying a night out with R&B star Ne-Yo‘s estranged wife, Ms. Crystal Smith.
The two were seen clubbing together Saturday at one of several parties ringing in a star-studded NBA All-Star Weekend 2020 in the Windy City, according to a clip Smith posted to her Instagram Story. Henry flashed a nervous smile as Smith, who’s reportedly in the midst of a divorce, pans the camera over to him before turning it back to herself.
The 8-second clip was more than enough to get fans talking.
“Ryan is for the streetzzzz,” one fan commented.
“Celebrities don’t waste anytime moving on 😂😂😂,” another chimed in.
Others noticed how visibly uncomfortable Henry became when he realized Smith was recording: “Ryan didn’t wanna be on camera sis 😂.”
One fan joked, “Neyo bouta write the best break up album ever,” while another trashed Smith’s behavior as “messy, messy, messy.”
Crystal and Ne-Yo are calling it quits after just four years of marriage. It has been reported that the couple, who share two children together, have been separated for months.
A source familiar with the matter told the blog that Crystal plans to file for divorce by the end of the month. In an interview with the “Private Talk With Alexis Texas” podcast, Ne-Yo confirmed he and his wife have decided to part ways.
“It’s slowly but surely becoming public knowledge that myself and my wife have decided to go ahead and get a divorce,” the singer-songwriter said. “It’s not a sad thing, it’s more of an us … long story short, I am never gonna talk bad about her. I’m not that person.”
The drama also left loyal “Black Ink Crew: Chicago” viewers to question the status of Henry’s friendship with fellow cast mate and rumored lover Miss Kitty. The two have denied ever hooking up and insist they’re “just friends” despite a sex rumor involving the pair last season on the show’s New York franchise. However, fans seem on board with the idea of them as a couple.
“I low key like Ryan & Kitt 🤷🏽♀️,” a fan wrote.
“Wait what happened to Miss Kitty Kat?” another asked.
