Many of Ray J and Princess Love‘s fans have expressed sadness over their relationship being on pause, but that hasn’t kept them from gushing over the couple’s new son, Epik Norwood.
The mother of two shared a photo of the little one on Tuesday, Feb. 4, and it shows him resting on her, looking quite content.
“Mommy’s little man 👑💙,” wrote Love about her son, who was born on Dec. 30, 2019.
Then, in the comments, people said Epik has more of his father’s looks than his mother’s.
“Aww😍😍 he looks like daddy,” wrote one Instagram user.
“He’s so handsome!❤️ He looks like a mini Ray J,” wrote someone else.
“Ray J twin lol,” a third person stated.
There were also some who said Epik looked more like Ray J’s family members than the singer himself.
“Look like Brandy,” wrote one Instagram user mentioning Ray’s famous sister.
“Look like ray j mom 😭😭😭😭,” someone else commented.
The photo has been liked over 100,000 times in the first hour that it was posted, which some might say isn’t surprising since Love has 2.9 million Instagram followers. More than 2,000 comments were left in that span.
“Handsome little guy,” one of those comments read.
“He’s perfect 💙🙏🏾,” another person wrote about Epik.
“My heart just f—in melted!” another person commented.
Love and Ray J were married in August 2016 in Los Angeles, and their first child, a girl named Melody Love, was born in May 2018.
The couple’s relationship seemed to take a major hit in November of last year, when Love accused Ray J of abandoning her and Melody in Las Vegas.
Ray later described that he got his own hotel room in Vegas and didn’t feel that he actually stranded his family. But then he apologized to his wife during an interview on “The Wendy Williams Show.”
A little after that blowup, Love said she didn’t want to be married anymore. Then, recently, during an Instagram Q&A, someone asked the 35-year-old mom if she and Ray J are currently together.
“Not right now.. right now we’re just focused on the kids,” she answered.
Ray J also suggested that he and his wife weren’t together during a recent interview with In Touch magazine and said their relationship is at a “standstill.”
“We love each other and our relationship matters, definitely, but right now the kids are the only thing that matters,” he explained. “Keep us in your prayers. God will make it work.”
