‘Move On’: O.G. Chijindu Accused of ‘Stretching’ Evelyn Lozada, Colorism Drama Months After ‘BBW’ Season Wrapped

It looks like “Basketball Wives” star O.G. Chijindu is speaking on the drama she faced on the show’s latest season.

The VH1 television personality stopped by Chicago radio station WGCI 107.5 on Thursday and discussed the colorism she says she experienced while on “BBW.”

“Everytime I opened my mouth I wasn’t allowed to voice my opinion and anytime I did voice my opinion, it was belittled, demeaned,” said the former Legends football player when asked about her first time experiencing colorism on the show. “No one else got that same type of treatment. You know I’m not stupid, you know I’m an intelligent person, you know I know how to analyze things.”

She also suggested that her cast mates labeled her “aggressive” due to her darker skin complexion, adding that many of her cast mates had been in physical altercations before her debut on the show.

“When we say the word aggressive, do we even understand the definition?” she said. “If everybody understands the origin of the word aggression and aggressive, you have to do something physical. I haven’t done anything physical.”

She went onto to say that she knows “nothing about” her cast mate Evelyn Lozada‘s defamation case against her and claimed she hadn’t been served yet with papers declaring the lawsuit. Chijindu also accused producers of cutting out remarks by Lozada where the Afro-Latina star claimed she didn’t “want to be Black.”

During season 8’s reunion special, “BBW” executive producer and star Shaunie O’Neal seemingly slapped down Chijindu’s colorism remarks, saying, “I hate that she feels that way … I do. I feel horrible. … It is a painful subject. Dark-skinned women definitely get it way harder in society in general. I totally understand it, I get it. But I believe here at ‘Basketball Wives’ we work so hard for that not to be an issue.”

As for loyal “BBW” fans, they appear to be over Chijindu’s melodrama.

“Yawn,” one person said. “Move on already 🙄 I’m sick of her!”

“Girl bye‼️ sit yo tyad ass down,” another added. ” 😴 We still on this? Girl move TF on already. The show been over.”

Someone else commented, “I love OG but i think she stretchin this colorism thing. They were just haters! Run with that OG. Talk about how they were really scared. Run with tht. But i dont think colorism played a part in anything! I wasnt there tho so i could be wrong!”
