Jennifer Williams has been keeping a low profile since “Basketball Wives” concluded its eighth season. But the star has recently graced fans with her presence on Instagram.
Williams uploaded a selfie to the photo and video sharing site Thursday wearing her hair in a thick, crimped black ponytail. She kept her look casual with gold-colored hoop earrings, a fur Louis Vuitton scarf and a jean jacket.

Perhaps Williams’ beauty can be attributed to her largely staying out of the fray this season. Aside from her tensions with off-and-on pal Evelyn Lozada after Williams refused to own up to alleged remarks about Lozada’s daughter, Williams has mostly been drama-free.
Still, the star sparked concern among fans when she indicated her time on the VH1 series may be over.
In September, she posted a photo with the caption, “Excited about my next chapter… Thank you to my manager @deannamorales for always having my front and back. I love you D! #ForwardIsTheMotion #MoneyMakingMonday 💋.”
Her “next chapter” made fans fear she’d closed the book on “Basketball Wives.”
“Next chapter? Done with BBW? I won’t blame you if you did.”
“So, is this finally the end of #BBWives ???”
If it were up to Williams, however, she might have wrapped her time on the show a season ago. She told “The Breakfast Club” last year, “I honestly would like to move forward in my life.”
And she’s looking to move forward in her personal life, too.
Speaking to Atlanta Black Star ahead of the season premiere in June, she shared her hopes of becoming a mother.
“I want to be a mom. I didn’t really have this urgency until my mom passed [from cancer in 2015],” Williams said. “I feel like I always wanted that, but when my mom passed I felt like I didn’t have that bond with a mom anymore. I was like, ‘You know what? This is something that I want to experience.’ I’m not saying it has to be tomorrow, but … I would love to have a child, and I don’t want a surrogate. I wanna be pregnant, I want to be able to experience that.”
