Ashanti caused quite the ruckus on social media when she posted a photo of herself in her undergarments, which seemed to be at least one size too small.
The photo shows the R&B singer sitting on a bed with a stuffed animal, and there’s magazine cutouts of people like Fat Joe as well as the rapper Freeway. She’s also rocking a necklace with a diamond heart pendant and holding a cellphone in her hand.
“Boss b*tch whip I pull up cause a frenzy…no scratch on it no Spud no McKenzie,” Ashanti wrote in the caption.
The comments came flying in afterward, and people used words like “beautiful,” “sexy” and “fine” to describe the photo. Plus, a lot of the fellas took a shot at asking Ashanti out, while others called her their “future baby mama.”
And there were some who seemed far too blown away to write anything descriptive.
“lawd have mercy 😍😍,” one person simply stated.
“Oh My……how about speechless,” a second person wrote. “But I want big time.”
“Thickest of them all,” wrote a third.
And another person said the 39-year-old hasn’t lost a step in the beauty department since being introduced to the world many years ago.
“😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥You been fine and sexy ever since have not lost a touch at all baby,” that person commented.
The pic seems to be taken from a photoshoot for Tory Lanez‘s new project “Chixtape 5,” where the Canadian crooner samples songs from the 2000s. Ashanti appears on track 14 titled “A Fools Tale (Running Back),” and she’s on the project’s cover too.
She included a clip of her song on Instagram a few days ago, which people seemed to love just as much as her scantily clad photo.
“Great piece of work. Appreciate this song. Proud of you for all of your success,” one person wrote. “Grew up on your music as a child. Moms was bumping in the car👌💪”
“Like always your music is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” another person stated.
