T.I.’s Daughter Deyjah Harris Deletes Her Social Media Accounts After Father’s ‘Hymen’ Comments

It seems that T.I.‘s 18-year-old daughter Deyjah Harris is tired of all the talk surrounding her father’s recent comments about accompanying her to the gynecologist. Because she’s deleted her social media pages.

And that move came after she stopped following her famous dad, as well as her stepmother Tiny Harris and stepsister Zonnique Pullins. Plus she liked a few tweets someone wrote about T.I., one in particular that called him “possessive and controlling.”

If you missed it, the “Live Your Life” rapper was a guest on the “Ladies Like Us” podcast on Nov. 5 and said he goes to his daughter’s gynecological visits to “check her hymen.”

“I said ‘Look doc, she don’t ride no horses, she don’t ride no bike, she don’t play no sports, man, just check the hymen please and give me back my results, expeditiously,'” he explained. “But I will say, as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact.”

T.I. received massive backlash afterwards, which really hasn’t stopped since. The podcast hosts, Nazanin Mandi and Nadia Moham, apologized for not taking the rapper to task for his comments.

“To everyone confused, angry and hurt by the recent episode of ‘Ladies Like Us,’ we want to apologize for our knee-jerk reaction to the uncomfortable topic,” they said in a joint statement earlier this month on social media. “We were completely caught off guard/shocked and looking back, we should have reacted much differently in the moment.”

And even Planned Parenthood weighed in and tweeted”Idk who needs to hear this but virginity is a made-up social construct, and it has absolutely nothing to do with your hymen.”
