50 Cent seemed to rile up the viewers of “Power” after giving a theory about who shot Omari Hardwick‘s character Ghost, who took a bullet to the chest in the midseason finale.
In that much-talked-about scene, viewers saw the characters, Paz, Tariq, Tommy, Tasha, Tate and Dre going to Ghost’s nightclub Truth. So the talk about who pulled the trigger has been ongoing.

50 named Trey Songz as the shooter, although he wasn’t in the final episode or even a “Power” cast member, although the R&B crooner sang a remix version of the show’s theme song โBig Rich Town,โ originally sung by Joe. Many said they couldn’t stand it, and 50 eventually put the original version back on.
And it’s because of that fuss people made over the song that 50 brought the R&B singer up.
“I think @treysongz shot Ghost because of how you fools acted about the remix,” wrote the G-Unit boss on Friday. “I told yโall to chill, now yall done got ya man f–ked over. LOL.”
50’s followers weighed in afterward, and like they did back in August, they blasted Songz for the remix.
“He need to be arrested for that theme song ๐ญ,” wrote a fan.
“Good he should get the chair for that remix,” a another person stated.
“My wife love ghost! Shiiii–d I was about to walk up to his club too wit the pistol! I almost shot ghost!,” wrote a third person.
“๐๐๐ I knew this shit was going to b funny before I even read the caption๐๐,” wrote someone else.
On Monday, Nov. 4, Hardwick posted a message about “Power” coming to a close and his character possibly being wiped out.
“Thank you Starz, producers, writers, directors, crew, teamsters & my beloved cast for trusting each other enough to aid majorly in this line being blurred,” he wrote. “That is when programming shifts the culture. My belief is we accomplished that.”
“Thank you fans for entrusting me with the job of quarterbacking this team of bandits who scored in stealing your hearts week in/week out for 6 yrs,” added Hardwick.
