‘Damn’: Trina Braxton’s Talk Show Look Reveals Major Slim-Down Ahead of Wedding

Trina Braxton has been very serious about shedding some extra pounds before her trip down the aisle with fiancé Von Scales. And a new pic has offered a peek at her major progress on that trek.

On Wednesday, the singer shared a photo of her outfit ahead of that day’s episode of her daytime panel talk show “Sister Circle.”

“Today’s look on @sistercircletv,” Braxton captioned the pic of her rocking a low-cut, busty black jumpsuit, matching high-heeled pumps and a gray-ish blazer.

The image promptly led fans to remark on all the progress Braxton has visibly made when it comes to slimming down in time for her wedding.

“Damn she lost a lot of weight”

“@trinabraxton1 You look amazing skinny queen!!!”

“You look amazing 😩❤️❤️”

“@trinabraxton1 you look great!! So truly happy for you and your new love. I’m getting married in June and was wondering if you would be willing to share the secret to your weight loss 😊?”

But Braxton has already shared some glimpses of how she’s lost lots of the weight. On her Instagram Story Thursday, she jogged up a set of stairs and then hit some squats once she got to the top.

The “Braxton Family Values” star has been serious about getting in shape since she and Scales, who WBLS reported owns Pro IV Chronic Pain Center in St. Louis, got engaged this spring.

Fans previously remarked on Braxton’s progress back in August when the talk show host shared her “Sister Circle” look.

“Come through wedding body! Congrats!”

“She lost all that weight!”

“Girl you look snatched. I need your diet”

“Hey Slim💙”

Even her sister Tamar Braxton couldn’t help but comment, “Getting skinty😘.”

Yet while Trina’s newest quest toward fitness has fans marveling, it’s not the first time she’s decided to get serious about getting into shape. In 2014, the star spoke to BlackDoctor.org about what led her to want to drop the 40 pounds she’d gained up to that point.

“I was skinny girl all my life,” she said. “What made me realize I had to change was when I saw myself on the TV, and when the things in my closet didn’t fit. My sister literally called Weight Watchers for me and registered me.”

To get to a slimmer state, Trina admitted she needed to take “a hard look at what I needed to change about my lifestyle … at what my challenges were,” she said before adding, “My challenges were going to the gym and eating differently. Before my weight loss journey, I was depriving myself, then overeating when I did indulge. When, at first, the scale didn’t change, I ate more because I was frustrated. I learned that sometimes inches are lost before you see numbers drop on the scale.”
