More drama emerges between the Braxton sisters during a taping of “Braxton Family Values.” During the June 6 episode, the family had taken a trip to Napa Valley, California, on Tuesday, March 26, for family bonding time and to help celebrate Tamar Braxton’s 42nd birthday. Tamar and her boyfriend David Adefeso dined with Trina Braxton and her boyfriend Von Scales and the rest of the family. During the dinner, Scales started to give a speech.
“I didn’t think I would feel this way about another person at this stage in my life. I was wrong about that too. I love you with all that I have.” While Scales was speaking, Tamar huffed and puffed, and was on her phone posting a shady Instagram story while giving the side-eye.
Scales then popped the question to Trina asking her to marry him, and she said a big yes.
While everyone else hugged and cheered for the newly engaged couple, Tamar was visibly upset that Scales proposed to Trina during her birthday celebration. What was supposed to be a joyous time for a family turned into a night of drama as Tamar wasn’t pleased with her birthday gifts of a hot air balloon ride, gift cards, and sunglasses.
Tamar responded to her sister’s engagement with “It’s my birthday though, what the f**k is going on.” She stormed off and even broke up with her boyfriend for 20 minutes, which she blamed on wine.
Fans of the show were very displeased with Tamar’s behavior and let it be known via Instagram.
“Tamar’s behavior this entire trip was disgusting!!!! Period!!!! Her attitude is horrible, 🤦🏽♀️” one fan wrote.
“Tamar Braxton acts like a 13 year old child. Her attitude sucks.”
“To be honest. This episode made me sad. I cannot believe Tamar acted like that. After ALL, that Trina has been through!!! How could you do this to your sister?!?!? That was horrible, and everyone saw it smh.”
Tamar seemingly responded to the negative comments via her Instagram story.
