‘What the Hell’: Steve Harvey Confronts Look-Alike Vying for His Job

Steve Harvey may have missed out on his talk show getting renewed, but he’s not going to let go of his ongoing stint hosting “Family Feud” — not even if someone who looks just like him wants the gig.

The former “Steve” host uploaded a video that saw him facing off against comedian Lou Young III, who donned a bald cap and a phony mustache to pretend as if he were actually Steve Harvey. Picking out a suit and smoking a cigar before heading onto the set, Young strolled out when the announcer called for Harvey, and began behaving to suit.

“Go to the church, not the club,” he said in a pre-show segment where he offered up advice. However, the crowd erupted once the actual Steve Harvey walked onstage behind Young.

“What are you doing?” the famed comic asks.

“I’m doing my show,” Young stutters. “I would say, what you doin’?”

“I actually do the show myself. I was just curious as to who you are?” Harvey replies.

Young explained he was the host of “Family Feud” and offered to do the show with Harvey and take turns.

“I don’t really need nothing — your head look funny,” Harvey says to audience laughter.

The “Kings of Comedy” star later asked Young for his name, and he answered his mom named him Shleve Harvey.

“You ever see Kenan Thompson do me on ‘Saturday Night Live’?” Harvey asks before the audience cracks up at the punchline. “I don’t like his ass either.”

Still, he complimented the comedian, who is also an athlete, on his figure, saying, “Your stomach’s flat. I like that. You gimme that stomach, I’ll give you this head!”

When Harvey shared the video to his Instagram page he captioned it, “What the hell are you doing on my stage??? @louuuyoung didn’t think we’d ever meet.”

Fans in the comments section were cracking up.

“What the hell 😂😂😂😂 I can’t 😂😂😂”

“Lmao ⚡️⚡️⚡️ great laugher for morning brain work 👌”

“🤣🤣🤣how I have missed Mr Steve’s face when he does that overwhelmed look of his”

Young is the most recent comic to impersonate the game show host. As he referenced in their dialogue, “SNL” staple Thompson has done it for years on the sketch comedy show.

“Oh, it’s so funny. It’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen,” Harvey jokingly told TV Guide in a deadpan-tone two years ago.

And just last month, Harvey took aim at comedian Godfrey’s impersonation of him on the latter comic’s podcast.

“Hey @comediangodfrey that’s funny as hell but when I see you I’m slapping yo ass,” Harvey captioned a video he shared of Godfrey.
