It’s clear Keyshia Cole is turning back the hands of time with her beauty.
The “Trust and Believe” singer left the internet head over heels in awe this week after showing off her beaming appearance. She took to her Instagram story on Thursday and posted an apparently seven-year-old throwback photo of herself and a friend taking selfies together. A younger Cole rocked bright pink hair and a matching shirt, while her friend showed off her makeup-free guise.
Cole tagged her friend “Yasmine Abriel” in her throwback post, writing, “My girl.” The caption also read, “When personalities don’t change and you still look 15 … 15 years later 😍 #nothingmatchesbutred.”
The 37-year-old star’s fans always boast about her girlish looks, saying she doesn’t look anywhere near her age. In a post from September, the ‘Should’ve Let You Go” crooner posted a photo showing off a shimmering purple, orange and green face painting she received at a family outing on the weekend of Sept. 14. While Cole’s “face tat” was the main attraction, fans couldn’t help but notice her youthful glow and flooded her with compliments.
One fan wrote at the time, “So now she’s 12? What’s with all these gorgeous black ladies aging backwards like Benjamin button. … I’m just a lil white raisin 😫”
Another added, “Keyshia Cole out here being the prettiest girl in the world without makeup … Again 😑😂 what a true beauty”
After giving birth just two months ago, the 37-year-old crooner announced on Wednesday that she’s heading back on the road. She’ll be joining comedians Cedric The Entertainer and Carl Payne for an entertainment event in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, Oct. 12.
“I am coming to D.C. to Constitution Hall,” Cole said in an Instagram video that racked up more than 121,000 likes. “Y’all better be there, because we about to have a great time.”
Along with working and looking flawless, she and boyfriend Niko “Khale” Hale, 23, have also been focused on new-parent duties. The couple welcomed a baby boy on Aug. 1 shortly after 11 p.m. and celebrated the one-month anniversary of his birth around Sept. 11.
Fans have been probing the star to see the baby’s face, but she revealed in August that she’s not allowed to do so until the airing of her upcoming untitled reality show on BET that’s apparently slated to air this year.
