It looks like K. Michelle is putting her bungled cosmetic surgery experience behind her.
The “I Just Can’t Do This” singer has been more than forthcoming about her black market silicone butt injections she received at the height of her career and how they later affected her health. After undergoing several surgeries over the last few years, the crooner is finally ending that chapter of her life.
Tuesday evening, K. Michelle suggested, she’d underwent the last surgical procedure to remove the remaining silicone from her body. She shared a post that read, “Surgery went great! Thanks to everyone for their well wishes and prayers. I was terrified, I needed that encouragement.”
The 35-year-old crooner told her fans that she was happy the procedure was over with and was at home trying her best to recover.
“I’m just happy that this journey and closing the chapter on this mistake I made,” she wrote. “It’s time to smile and i’m in a hurry to do so, but I have not rush my recover time.”
Fans uplifted the singer and showered her with get well wishes.

In June 2018, the mother of one opened up about undergoing four surgical procedures to remove her black market butt injections. She told People magazine that the silicone spread throughout parts of her lower body, damaging her tissue and threatening her overall health.
“It’s the scariest thing in life, and I’m a tough girl,” she said at the time. “I had these lumps and I was very disfigured.”
The singer said she’s learned her lesson from her botched experience and that it’s changed her overall perspective on life.
“I’ve gone through a physical transformation, a mental transformation, I think I’m more tough,” she continued. “I don’t take a minute for granted. And hopefully this [transformation] will go on through the rest of my life and not just through this healing process, but so people can tell the difference in my fight. It’s even stronger.”
