“Black Ink Crew” star Teddy Ruks is getting dragged by viewers for his apparent “jealous” behavior towards Paul “Puma” Robinson.
It’s no secret that Ruks has his cousin Ceaser Emanuel‘s back and only wants the best for him, but maybe his loyalty runs a little too deep. Last season, Ruks was somewhat against Robinson and Emanuel reconciling their friendship after falling out years ago. He insinuated that the “Ink 124” owner had changed since his feud with Emanuel.
Although, Robinson and Emanuel are back on good terms, it seems Ruks is still questioning Robinson’s intentions. During Wednesday night’s episode, Emanuel set his sights on opening a new shop in Brooklyn and consulted his business partner and old friend Robinson on his idea, whom the “Black Ink” owner splits his shops 50/50 with. The two bosses disagreed on the location of the new shop but eventually came to an agreement. It, however, frustrated Ruks, because he felt that Robinson shouldn’t have much say-so in executive decisions because he didn’t have much success with his own “Ink 124” shop.
Ruks eventually spoke to Emanuel about his reservations regarding Robinson, telling him that he’s “moving too fast” by inviting Robinson into his business.
“With this whole situation with P. … You doing a lot, so I know you can’t take on all the responsibility,” he told Emanuel. “I think you moving a little too fast. Just stay on point, bro.”
Emanuel said he appreciated his cousin for having his back but felt he was coming off as a little jealous of Robinson. “Black Ink” viewers clearly agreed with Emanuel and slammed Ruks.
“When Ted can tattoo and have his own business then he can talk puma does this and that. In the meantime he need to stfu and stop kissing Ceaser’s ass’ 🤷🏾♀️”
