‘It Be Your Own Kids’: Kandi Burruss’ Daughter Tries Her With Spelling Lesson for Little Brother Ace

Kandi Burruss is away, and while she lives it up in Greece with her “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-stars, daughter Riley Burruss is stepping in to help her younger brother with his spelling homework. But the moment resulted in some shade being thrown at the singer.

“Hold on, what does Mommy wear again?” Riley, 17, asks her 3-year-old brother Ace Wells Tucker in a video Burruss shared to Instagram Sept. 23.

“A wig,” replies the preschooler.

“And what letter do we need to spell that?” Riley asks of a sheet that has a faceless woman wearing a flipped up hairstyle.

“A ‘w’,” says Ace before mistakenly scrawling an “m” into a space for the three-letter word.

But while Riley cheered her brother for knowing the correct word was “wig” based on Riley’s clue about their famous mother, Burruss and her fans caught the playful shade.

“While I’m in Greece this is what @rileyburruss is teaching @acewellstucker…. 🤣🤣🤣❤️” the “RHOA” star captioned the video.

Fans also sounded off in the comments section.

“It be ya own kids 😂😂 so cute!❤️”

“Riley shady 😂😂😂😂”

“When I tell you this is hilarious…what does mommy wear..a wig 😜”

“Bye wig”

“That was so shady 😂😂😂😂 it be yo own family 😂😂😂😂😂”

“🤣🤣🤣 at least he’s learning 🤷🏽‍♀️ he’s too cute! He look like his big sis @rileyburruss ❤️”

Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker recently saw Ace off to preschool, while Riley is entering her final year of high school. As Riley continues to come into her own after making a stunning weight-loss transformation last year, she hasn’t left her much-younger brother behind. She asked her bro this past spring if he enjoyed his first baseball practice before inquiring if he’ll make some money.

“Yes!” he told his big sis. “For you, Riley!”

The moment made fans’ hearts swell.

“Awww he’s so sweet! I ❤️ it”

“He has a good heart. he wasn’t thinking about himself just his big sister and family. so sweet!”

“Awww he’s such a sweetie.”

Riley’s bond with Ace is apparent, but that doesn’t mean she’s always been the biggest fan of having younger siblings. Last season on “RHOA,” the teen made it clear that she wanted no parts of Burruss and Tucker expanding their brood.

“You work too much. … I know I get sad when you just come back for, like, a day or two, and then leave back out,” she said when Burruss said she hoped to use the two frozen girl embryos to have another daughter.

But Burruss and Tucker are forging ahead with their plans, and the “RHOA” star told Us Weekly in November that Riley had come around.
