‘She Should Have Just Left Me the F–k Alone!’: Tamar Braxton Lashes Out After Loni Love Takes It Upon Herself to Respond to ‘Wendy’ Remarks

Tamar Braxton has appeared to have inadvertently reignited a feud with her fomer talk show “The Real” — namely with the show’s co-host Loni Love.

When asked on “The Wendy Williams Show” Wednesday if she’d return to the daytime talker, which is composed of a panel including co-hosts  Tamera Mowry-HousleyJeannie Mai and Adrienne Houghton, Braxton tried to keep things cordial.

“I love ’em,” Braxton began on Sept. 18 after host Wendy Williams told her “‘The Real’ is a “cute show, but they need you.” “I don’t want to be anybody’s marketing tool this season — no shade. I just wish everybody well. I just feel sometimes, God has to move you out of situations before you become more toxic to yourself. … I’m doing [The Real] where people are being catty behind my back. What kind of person would I be right now sitting on this couch?”

After Braxton spoke on the matter, Love hit back once “The Real” aired later that day.

“Wendy, thank you for calling us a cute show. We’re also an Emmy-winning show so don’t forget that, sis,” Love began. “Full disclosure, it’s been three years. I don’t know why you guys keep talking about this whole situation. … What had happened this summer was that Tamar Braxton gave us an apology for everything that happened, which these girls at this table had no issue of doing. Since then, that apology has been taken down. I, in my humble opinion of trying to be the strong Black woman, invited her to come on to the show for season 6. It was a simple, public ask. I did try to call her privately. I’ve been texting her. I get no response.

“Tamar, nobody is trying to use you as a marketing tool, sweetie,” she continued. “You apologized to us over the summer and we just thought to close this loop … to mend fences, that’s all, that was the intention. … You are still welcome to come on anytime, it’s not a big deal.”

But according to screenshots of an alleged text thread between Braxton and an unnamed insider, that’s not the whole story. The source claimed that Love wrote letters to the TV network in an attempt to get Braxton fired. This all reportedly occurred while Braxton was getting surgery to have a rib removed following an injury while competing on “Dancing with the Stars” in 2015. Braxton was fired from “The Real” the next year.

“I told everyone that it was her no one wanted to believe me,” Braxton said in response to one of the texts.

“When the guilt settles🎯…. Lonnie cut the BS!!! Thanks @wendyshow my sister, for having me!!! U may not have an Emmy YET, but the girls are SURELY watching 😩😩😩😂😂😂… anyway, back to my transformation!! 💪🏾💪🏾👑,” Braxton initially wrote in the caption Wednesday afternoon before editing it to add, “*allegedly* in my @therealtsmadison voice… “

Braxton’s pal Todrick Hall was among the first to comment and told the singer, “Praying this passes soon! I love you & your talent and personality are so immense. We need to be roommates and take each other’s phones away from each other when we’re about to post things we may regret.”

But Braxton had had enough.

“@todrick brother!!!!!😩😩😩well Lonnie shouldn’t have been stalking me and Wendy today and started this bulls–t!! Ive said NOTHING mean about them nor they dusty ass show!! She should have just left me the Fck alone!!! It’s too much. I’m tired of her lying and me taking it! NO MORE!!! Everyone who knows me knows I’m not thinking about them and wish them well… they should have sat this one out! Periodt,” she replied.

Love commented on the post an hour later appearing to refute Braxton’s text message story.

“Who writes letters? Who sent this? … let’s talk it out.. stop going on every other show. You know you want to.. and bring ya man!!! @tamarbraxton,” the comedian commented.

But Braxton wasn’t through just yet. She followed up her post by uploading a 2017 “Queens Court” podcast episode where hosts TS Madison and Khia aired out Love for apparently doing Braxton dirty. The “Braxton Family Values” star appeared to reply to Love’s invitation to come on “The Real” in the video’s caption by writing, “sorry I only go on shows with ratings, plus you do enough talking about me…”

Love once again jumped into the comments section and said, “I know you are scared Tamar… but if you are going to accuse me of something do it to my face… but you can’t handle the truth.. I thought your apology was sincere… that was why I wanted you to come on the show.. I can’t wait for your next funny meme.. let’s go Sis!!! @tamarbraxton.”

Braxton kept quiet from there, but Loni also posted a screenshot to her own page of a write up in O Magazine about how the comic maintained Braxton is welcome to be a guest on “The Real.” The host simply captioned the post, “#letustalk”

Meanwhile, fans have been sharing their views on the clash online.

“And I oop”

“i thought we were better than this 😒Tamar please pick a side , either of growth or pettiness. i hate to see it”

“You’re a class act, Loni Love…❤️”

“Tamar that show hasn’t been the same since you left and the hate will always be real 💯”

“Can you say snake like behavior✌🏽then she was making videos with the girls and hoping you was ok only to hide the fact that she really wanted you to be off the show permanently😩she tried it very much. I guess she thought no one would ever find this out😑”

“No one got the message on not bringing each other down….too much”
