Although Keyshia Ka’Oir and Gucci Mane are deemed as one of hip-hop’s favorite couples, a recent video left fans with questions pertaining to their relationship.
It’s no secret the couple flaunt their love all over social media with sweet videos and cute pictures of each other, but some fans wonder if it’s all a front. Ka’Oir took to Instagram on Wednesday and uploaded a video of her and her husband apparently walking through the Cove Luxury Resort in Bahamas. They’re presumably there to do help the Hurricane Dorian victims who were affected, according to the rapper’s “#bahamasforagoodcause” post shared on Sept. 10.
In the video, Ka’Oir and Gucci are seen walking side-by-side, but with a noticeable amount of space between each other. The “So Icy” appears to be looking off to the side as his wife slightly walked ahead of him.
The 34-year-old model captioned her post, “I ain’t playin withcha !!”
Despite the number of compliments they received, fans pointed out the “obvious.”
“Why they walking so far a part? 😕 Y’all don’t look happy and it shows in this video.”
“Dang no holding hands or nothing? She seems angry at him.”
“Married couples who are so much in love 😍 don’t hold hands no more? 😕 you guys look awkward walking side by side #js”
Gucci Mane, however, seemingly quelled any trouble-in-paradise assumptions after commented on Ka’Oir’s post, “My wife 🔥🔥🔥”
Ka’Oir first entered Gucci’s life in 2010. Their relationship endured some obstacles when the rapper served a three-year prison sentence beginning in 2013 after being convicted of unlawful possession of a firearm.
The mother of three stood by her then-boyfriend’s side, although many people urged her to leave him.
“I did have the question thrown at me many times: ‘Why are you with him?’ — both before and when he was locked up,” she told the New York Post in October 2017. “I would tell him about it. It did not bother me because they do not know the real Gucci, so I did not care.”
The couple celebrated their second wedding anniversay in May, an occasion that was thought to have been properly in October, and Ka’Oir wrote “Today, May 14th is our day for many beautiful reasons! We met 5/14/10 Got married 5/14/17 #TheWopstersAnniversary ❤️💍 #514 #1017.”
