‘Had to Do a Double Take’: Porsha Williams’ Fans Say She Resembles This ‘RHOA’ Co-Star

Porsha Williams got together with bestie Shamea Morton over the weekend for a playdate with their little ones, and when guest Marlo Hampton arrived to play with the baby girls the resulting photo op led fans to do a double take.

Williams and Morton were treated to a chef-prepared meal, courtesy of her fiancé Dennis McKinley, and had just ladies over for breakfast Saturday.

“The breakfast club❤️So sweet babe Hired Chef while he’s out of town working for just the girls❤️ S/O to @shameamorton for getting Pj to sit still for braids 😩🔥 #FamilyNFamily1st #ThankYouBaby #MyVillage #InRealLife,” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star captioned a series of photos and videos with her crew on Sept. 7.

As the ladies dined on a spread that included roasted sweet potatoes, applewood smoked bacon, an acai bowl, and a farm-fresh frittata with vegan cheese, they also enjoyed one another’s company. Specifically, Hampton soaked up time with Morton’s baby girl Shya and Williams’ daughter with McKinley, Pilar Jhena’.

Fans gushed over Hampton’s bond with the babies.

“Awwww look at aunt Marlo holding baby P!”

“I freaking love this!!!! Family, Friends, and Food!!! Doesn’t get any better!!! Love everyone appears to be in a positive space! #peaceofmind ❤️ “

“Auntie Marlo is good with the babies! ❤️”

However, they also noticed how much Hampton and Williams, both wearing bangs, resembled one another in the first photo of the latter’s post.

“Oh wow you and Marlo look like sisters here. Had to do a double take”

Anther fan agreed saying, “@iheartchelz_ I had to take another look as well.”

“Marlo and Porsha look alike”

“@mrs_taetaee they sure do! Beautiful girls. Marlo is so pretty,” someone agreed.

Hampton has been likened to another full-time “RHOA” star before. Back in January, fans thought Cynthia Bailey and Hampton’s matching blond ‘dos meant they could be mistaken for sisters — or even twins.

“@cynthiabailey10 and @marlohampton you both look like twins today ❤️”

“You two could go for sisters… Beautiful ladies and definitely the flyest dressers on the show😍😍😍”

“She kinda favors you. She can definitely be your sis on this pic. But we all know Marlo and Cynthia are different.”

Something else that’s also different is Hampton’s desire to have children. While she has been mocked for her childless status by peach holder Eva Marcille last season, Hampton has expressed uncertainty about motherhood.

“I feel like if it’s meant to be, it’ll be,” she said on the “RHOA” aftershow in February.

Independent journalism still matters.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

The wider picture isn't any steadier. Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under, it's rarely the ones built to center a Black perspective from the ground up that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
